Base came to Chicago in 2016 and has since expanded from our original Silverstein Base Lincoln Park to include the Luba & Bernard Friedman Base Loop, Anna & Fred Doppelt Base Andersonville and Base Logan Square! Nationally, this movement is housed at Mem Global (previously Moishe House) and focuses on young adults in their 20s and 30s.  All Silverstein Base Chicago locations are committed are committed to pluralism and founded on three core values: hospitality, learning, and service. We work in close partnership with campus partners as well as many local Jewish organizations. 

Silverstein Base Chicago is a home for students, young adults and their friends — and the actual homes of four rabbinic couples and their families.
