The JUF Uptown Cafe is a restaurant-style meals program dedicated to fighting hunger, reducing isolation, and creating community. Four times a week, volunteer waitpersons serve healthy kosher meals in a dignified setting. Members of the Cafe also have access to all of EZRA's programs including one-to-one case management.

I was homeless many years ago. A staff member from EZRA was doing outreach and said come to the JUF Uptown Cafe. I had just had a stroke and I knew that 4 times a week I would have a predictable meal that would be healthy. I am still here and forever grateful to EZRA and the JUF Uptown Cafe.

It is amazing how organized the cafe is. They are such amazing servers, who are so kind and give their time. They really enhance our experience. In addition, the staff at cafe are like family to us.
