Jewel Doula
Jewel Doula is a Jewish-led birth and postpartum support organization. We bring a Jewish lens to birth, rooted in community, spirituality and a long history of birthwork and family-building as a part of our tradition. As a trained full-spectrum doula, Stefanie offers bespoke birth preparation for new parents, and hands-on labor support. She has experience at Prentice, UCM and UIC labor and delivery wards. Jewel Doula will provide a short no-cost consult to any expectant parent, and can also provide Jewish and Chicago-focused resources for fertility, loss, birth and post-partum support – including life cycle events like bris (circumcision) ceremonies and baby namings, or 9th month mikveh rituals.

Sarah Palmer – Doula
Sarah Palmer provides trusted birth support and childbirth education that empower expectant and new parents through compassionate, evidence-based doula care. In addition to birth support—which can include planned cesareans, medicated birth, and unmedicated birth—Sarah supports clients through fertility journeys, miscarriage and loss, and abortion care. She meets clients where they are and supports a wide range of needs without judgment, offering a calm, grounded presence during vulnerable moments. In addition to doula care, Sarah offers resources and guidance on incorporating Jewish ritual into reproductive healthcare, including mikvah rituals, brit milah, and naming ceremonies.
