Center for Enriched Living

For more than 50 years, the Center for Enriched Living has enhanced and enriched the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities from youth through adulthood. CEL’s programs provide social, recreational, employment and educational opportunities for our members in our renovated Universally Designed building in Riverwoods as well as throughout the community. CEL has been accredited by the Council on Quality and Leadership (CQL) and designated as a 4-star charity by Charity Navigator for 5 consecutive years a standard only achieved by 19% of the charities evaluated in America.

Counseling at JCFS

Professionally trained and licensed clinical social workers, counselors, psychologists, art and drama therapists specialize in high quality therapeutic services that enhance the emotional well-being of children, adults, families, couples and families throughout Chicagoland. Specializes in areas such as parenting, anxiety, depression, attention deficit disorders; emotional, physical and sexual trauma, grief and loss, financial issues, marriage and relationship issues; separation, divorce and co-parenting, stress management, life transitions, work-related issues and addictive behaviors. Counseling Center locations include downtown Chicago, West Rogers Park, Northbrook, Skokie and Buffalo Grove.

Glenkirk

Provides support and services, which empower individuals with developmental disabilities to participate fully in all areas of community life. Advocates for and provides support and service based on the principles of informed choice, personal dignity, responsibility and individualization thereby enhancing the quality of life for all those whom Glenkirk serves.

Integrated Pediatric Interventions (IPI) at JCFS

Therapeutic interventions for children with developmental delays age birth-10 years. Services include evaluations; speech, occupational and developmental therapies; and social skills development.

Resource to bring personal, local services to interfaith couples and families exploring Jewish life and to the Jewish professionals and organizations who want to welcome them.

JCC Chicago Financial Resource Development & Endowment

The JCC Chicago Endowment Foundation, in partnership with the Jewish United Fund's Agency Endowment Program, was created to provide for the agency's future and that of our programs and services to the greater Chicago Jewish community. NA’AMAT USA

Strives to enhance the quality of life for women, children and families in Israel and the United States. SHALVA

Supports Jewish women experiencing and healing from domestic abuse, through counseling, supportive services and education. Free, confidential services include: 24-hour help/crisis line, individual and group counseling, legal support, financial assistance, case management and referrals.

Tikkun HaBriet

Tikkun HaBriet (Healing the Covenant), the only Jewish-based program that helps give struggling couples (and those stuck in a rough patch) another chance to redefine their marriage. This program begins the process of examining your goals and values and teach some new tools to rebuild into your loving relationship. Tikkun HaBriet is based on another faith's program that has been around for 40 years. Couples of all faiths, interfaith or no faith are welcome to attend. Without attention and care, marriages wither and couples slowly and quietly drift apart or are often torn apart by health, financial events or hurtful actions. Far too many couples live in misery, no longer feeling the joy of their once loving relationship. If you are experiencing challenges in your marriage, the Tikkun HaBriet Program may be able to help give your marriage another chance. Couples come to Tikkun HaBriet for many reasons, but you will never be asked why you are attending or be required to share.
