Jamie is a junior at Highland Park High School and a member of Am Yisrael Conservative Congregation in Northfield. Jamie is involved in his synagogue community through his roles as a Madrich (teacher’s assistant), a frequent guitar accompanist for Shabbat services, and the founder and leader of a high school peer discussion group focused on learning about Israel. During the summer, Jamie works as Rosh Tefilah and Shira (head of prayer and song) at Ramah Day Camp Chicagoland, where he enjoys leading daily prayer sessions and weekly Shabbat singing for children of all ages. He is also a StandWithUs Kenneth Leventhal intern, working to educate other high schoolers about Israel and antisemitism. In his free time, Jamie enjoys spending time with his family, running his party entertainment business, and playing music with others.
