PJ Library

Join over 6,000 families in the Chicago metropolitan area receiving FREE Jewish books every month through PJ Library!

PJ Library is a FREE program that sends high-quality, age appropriate Jewish books and music to families each month – with absolutely no strings attached. The PJ Library program in Chicago is available to families with children ages 6 months to 8 years living in the metropolitan Chicago area: Cook, Lake, Will, McHenry, DuPage and Kane counties.

By sharing timeless stories of Jewish traditions, values and heritage, PJ Library is helping to build a stronger Jewish people, one book at a time.

PJ Library was created by the Harold Grinspoon Foundation, a leader in creating and supporting innovative opportunities for Jewish engagement in Western Massachusetts and beyond. PJ Library is part of JUF Young Families and is a gift to Chicagoland families from the Jewish United Fund/Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago, the generosity of local donors including Iris and Steve Podolsky, Anschel-Eilian Family Charitable Foundation, and Crown Family Philanthropies, as well as local Jewish early childhood educators.
