PJ Library

Join over 6,000 families in the Chicago metropolitan area receiving FREE Jewish books every month through PJ Library!

PJ Library is a FREE program that sends high-quality, age appropriate Jewish books and music to families each month – with absolutely no strings attached. The PJ Library program in Chicago is available to families with children ages 6 months to 8 years living in the metropolitan Chicago area: Cook, Lake, Will, McHenry, DuPage and Kane counties.

By sharing timeless stories of Jewish traditions, values and heritage, PJ Library is helping to build a stronger Jewish people, one book at a time.

PJ Library was created by the Harold Grinspoon Foundation, a leader in creating and supporting innovative opportunities for Jewish engagement in Western Massachusetts and beyond. PJ Library is part of JUF Young Families and is a gift to Chicagoland families from the Jewish United Fund/Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago, the generosity of local donors including Iris and Steve Podolsky, Charlene and Pierre Eilian and Crown Family Philanthropies, as well as local Jewish early childhood educators.
