Focus on Chicago School Board Elections

August 12, 2026Wednesday, 6:30 pm - Wednesday, 8:30 pm

Are you a Jewish voter in the City of Chicago? Join JUF for an in-depth look at the upcoming election for Chicago’s School Board. For the first time, all 21 members of the Board will be elected, and every Chicago voter can vote – whether you’ve got a kid in CPS or not. CPS Board members make budget decisions, hire and fire the CEO, and impact every aspect of education in Chicago. The 2026 election is voters’ chance to make a generational impact on how our schools are run.

Panelists:

Civic Federation President Joe Ferguson (former Chicago Inspector General)
