JCYS Iris & Steven Podolsky Family Center
JCYS Iris & Steven Podolsky Family Center offers early childhood education programs for children age 15 months through 5 years. JCYS Early Childhood Education lays a foundation for intellectual, social, emotional and physical development through play-based curriculum. In each classroom, children freely choose from different learning centers throughout the day, helping to build confidence and develop their social and problem-solving skills. Group time for stories, singing, language development, science, cooking activities, and games add structure to each day.

Illinois Center for Jewish Studies
The mission of the Illinois Center for Jewish Studies (ICJS) is to provide every Jew, regardless of background, affiliation, or religious observance, the opportunity to be inspired by and connected to Torah and Judaism. We believe that people learn and develop differently, and that Torah study should be unique to every person’s individual journey. ICJS seeks to provide a personalized learning experience to nurture mind and soul in both individual and group settings. The Illinois Center for Jewish Studies hosts weekly educational classes for men and women in bible studies, Jewish philosophy, and special topics. The organization also provides individual one-on-one learning sessions for men to advance their bible knowledge and ability to improve personally. In addition to formal group/individual classes, the organization has seasonal social gatherings in an effort to promote Jewish education, as well as an annual benefit dinner to raise funds for its operations.

Shaarei Chinuch Day School
A Jewish Montessori day school for ages 3 years old through third grade. We integrate Judaism with the Montessori method to give each child a comprehensive, hands-on learning experience catered to his/her unique strengths and talents. Each child works at their own pace, using specialized hands-on learning materials, with individual instruction from the teachers, in the way that works best for them. Our program includes a comprehensive Judaic and secular curriculum, as well as a special focus on kindness, respect, and care for each other and the world around us. Our unique classroom style fosters self-esteem, confidence, and a love of learning.

Chicagoland NCSY
NCSY offers a diverse menu of social and educational programs for tweens and teens. Jr. NCSY (grades 6-8) runs monthly programming in Chicago and the North Shore, allowing participants to gain familiarity with the programs and make friendships that will last a lifetime. Additionally, Junior NCSYers can participate in quarterly weekend retreats around the Midwest. Senior NCSY offers regular programming four nights/week in Skokie and in Deerfield-providing meaningful and engaging Jewish learning experiences for teens, encouraging connection to the Jewish community; fostering identification with and understanding of Israel; strengthening positive Jewish identity; developing understanding and respect for the diversity of the Jewish community; and developing Jewish literacy. Additionally, Senior NCSYers have access to monthly social action activities and Shabbat activities around the Midwest along with four region-wide conventions/year. All of our programs are subsidized and many are free.
