After October 7, Jordyn put her love for Israel into action. She posted hostage posters across Chicago, traveled to Washington D.C. for the March for Israel, and organized a fundraiser to support traumatized children from Sderot, Israel.
A believer in Friends of the IDF’s mission, Jordyn joined the FIDF Young Leadership Board member in 2023, quickly rising to the Executive Board, where she co-led marketing efforts. Jordyn has helped plan and execute high-impact FIDF events, bringing together more than 1,000 young Jewish Chicago professionals. She was so successful in her efforts that she was elevated to the organization’s first-ever Young Leadership Manager dedicated to Illinois. She also plays a key role in recruiting members into the organization’s Ambassador Program, building the pipeline of future Young Leadership Board leaders.
Beyond FIDF, Jordyn is an active participant at River North Chabad, where she helps bridge organizational boundaries by co-planning a collaborative Challah Bake between Chabad and FIDF. “This kind of cross-community initiative reflects Jordyn’s broader vision: a more connected, engaged, and unified Jewish Chicago,” shared a friend and colleague.

How do you give back? I give back to any Jewish organization that needs support including Jewish education, Jewish community, and support for Israel in any way possible. I support various Chabads, synagogues, Project 613, FIDF, and much more. Giving back to Jewish organizations is a priority for my husband and me.
Something most people don’t know about you: I have dual Israeli American citizenship and I’m half Moroccan.
A Jew who inspires you: Jonny Daniels, Lizzy Savetsky, Ari Ackerman
Where do you see yourself in 10 years? My dream is to keep having children and raise them to be proud Jews living in Highland Park with my husband, Allen. We will hopefully have in total three to four children. We took our daughter to Israel when she was 10 months old and plan to bring our kids to Israel every year.
