Become a Mentor for the 2026 Lewis Summer Intern Program

We’re so excited you’re interested in becoming a mentor for the Lewis Summer Intern Program. The 2026 Lewis Summer Intern Program runs from June 15 – August 7 and gives college students the opportunity to gain professional experience while also participating in weekly seminars focused on leadership development and Jewish learning.

You and your Lewis Summer Intern mentee will arrange two in-person meet-ups during that time (one at the beginning of the summer, and one near the end). Mentors are young leaders (aged 25-39) in the Chicago Jewish community. Please sign up to be considered by Friday, April 17. We match mentors with mentees based on career fields and other interests – so not every interested mentor may be able to be chosen.

Mentors will hear whether they have been paired with a mentee by June 1, 2026. Please reach out to [email protected] with any questions.
