Anna Rubin is a force in the Jewish community devoted to gathering people around Jewish activism and culture.
She is the Lead Organizer at the Jewish Council on Urban Affairs, where she supports immigration, economic, and environmental justice campaigns that address systemic injustices in her community and others. Anna also works with JCUA members to combat racism, white supremacy, and antisemitism within her own community.
A resident of Doykeit, a Jewish justice co-op in Andersonville, Anna hosts Shabbat dinners, bagel bracket tastings, and multi-day clothing swaps with her housemates and neighbors. Outside of her residential and occupational efforts, Anna works with Resource Generation and Crossroads Fund to donate annually to local and national social movements.

YOUR BEST PIECE OF ADVICE:
I have two quotes that hang on my wall across from my bed that I wake up to every morning (that are prints made by my dear friend Essie): "Not everything that is faced can be changed, but nothing can be changed until it is faced" - James Baldwin, and (in Hebrew), "You are not obligated to complete the work, but neither are you free to desist from it" - Pirkei Avot 2:21
IF TIME AND MONEY WERE LIMITLESS, I WOULD:
Redistribute the money, cook elaborate meals, bake elaborate treats, and have people over every night to share food, stories, and schemes for how we can fundamentally shift our society towards safety, community, happiness, and abundance for all.
