Becca shares her passion for bringing together her Jewish and Asian identities in her work with the Jewish Council of Urban Affairs' Kol Or Jews of Color Caucus and LUNAR, the Jewish-Asian film project. She puts particular emphasis on anti-racism work, helping to organize events and present content at events like Racial Justice Day of Healing.

Beyond the Jewish community, Becca brings her bright personality to the world of comedy. "She might be the funniest Jew in Chicago," enthused a nominator. She enjoys combining music, pop culture, and Judaism to make everyone around her laugh and feel included. She performs comedy for friends, has been hired to entertain Jewish nonprofits, and has a mini Youtube special, "Mentally Well Cat Lady."

DESCRIBE YOURSELF IN 10 WORDS OR LESS:
An Asian Jewish goofball who leads with kindness and joy.

SOMETHING MOST PEOPLE DON’T KNOW ABOUT ME:
I'm such a cat person that I have a tattoo of a cat and can't visit any cat shelter for fun for the risk I might adopt another cat.

WHAT IS YOUR PROUDEST ACCOMPLISHMENT IN THE LAST 10 YEARS:
I was asked back to my high school, William Fremd High School, to perform as a headliner for Writers Week. That yearly festival is what helped make me the comedian and writer that I am today, inspiring me to tell my story.

Make a home out of shipping containers! Been down a rabbit hole of what you can do with shipping containers.
