Yoni is known as someone dedicated to helping people in all stages of life.
Three years after becoming a licensed nursing home administrator, he founded
Citadel Healthcare
, a leading provider of healthcare for older adults. In addition to his own nursing home(s) - where he is known for treating patients like family - Yoni is the co-chair of the Healthcare Council of Illinois, which supports nursing homes across the state. During the pandemic, he pivoted his care to COVID patients and served on Mayor Lightfoot's taskforce to reopen the city of Chicago.
Beyond his career, Yoni actively supports many organizations in the Jewish community. He attends synagogue at Congregation Beth Shalom in Northbrook and studies at the Skokie Community Kollel; he also supports the Chicago Center for Torah and Chesed, Ida Crown Jewish Academy - which he attended - and Camp Chi.
