Described as the "ultimate connector," Lauren loves going to events across the Jewish community, finding people she doesn't know, and helping them find the most fulfilling way to get involved.
Professionally, she began this work at Vanderbilt Hillel and JUF's Young Leadership Division (YLD); she now works at Jewish Federations of North America, where she focuses on creating inclusive spaces and mentoring Jewish leaders as part of the Changemakers fellowship.
Lauren also finds the time to be a No Shame on U mentor, F&M alumni mentor, and Am Shalom Sunday school teacher, and has staffed eight Birthright Israel trips. She also continues her involvement with YLD, participates in programs with Base and Trybal Gatherings, and supports the iCenter and Shorashim.
Lauren is always seeking ways to get people excited about participating in the Jewish community, no matter where she goes. "She's like Moses," enthused one nominator. "A Jewish leader we all follow!"
