Leah is an entrepreneur who has responded to the gaps in the nonprofit world by founding organizations to solve societal problems - twice!
Described as an "inspiring leader," Leah founded
Midwest Access Coalition (MAC)
in 2014 to respond to tightening abortion restrictions across the country. Closer to home, she founded
Jewish Free Loan Chicago (JFLC)
this past year to offer zero-interest loans to Chicagoans who need financial assistance.
In addition to the organizations she founded, Leah is an Avodah Fellowship alum and received the Women of Reform Judaism's Women's Empowerment Award in 2019. She is also a former board member of Sketchpad Chicago.
