Audrey exemplifies turning passion into action. She is the CEO and co-founder of Smallwave Marketing, a 100% woman-owned agency that provides affordable marketing strategy and support to nonprofits and purpose-driven small businesses. She consults on companies ranging from a women veteran-owned coffee company to an accessible theater company and uses a pay-what-you-can model in order to offer free or reduced marketing costs.
When she's not working, Audrey connects Jewishly through attending Mishkan Chicago and ChiTribe events, as well as hosting Shabbat dinners for friends and family. She and her mother also worked together to create a memoir that shares her Jewish roots and important details of her family's Holocaust survival.
Additionally, Audrey believes in giving back to the next generation, serving as a community mentor for JCC Chicago, and as a coach for Girls on the Run--where she teaches girls how to become physically fit and inspires them to follow their dreams like she has.

WHAT IS YOUR PROUDEST ACCOMPLISHMENT IN THE LAST 10 YEARS:
I am proud that I have been able to turn my dreams into an intentional life. Taking a year to travel across Australia allowed me to take a job that combined travel with nonprofits and marketing. That job allowed me to go out on my own and start my own small business. That small business has allowed me to take time off and grow my family...
A JEW WHO INSPIRES YOU:
Ruth Bader Ginsburg! She is a true pioneer and dedicated her career to advancing gender equality and women's rights. The way she fought against discrimination and inequality is truly inspiring.
YOUR BEST PIECE OF ADVICE:
If you have even the tiniest idea or goal of something you wanted to accomplish, do it! Don't worry about getting approval from others, quitting a job, or taking a different path from your friends or family. Take the gap year, start the business, pursue the new career. Now is the perfect time to do it.
