Casey Platt

Casey is always excited about giving back--and inspiring others to do the same.

In addition to JUF, he supports a range of other causes related to cancer research, combating climate change, advocacy for people with autism, and other social justice initiatives.

He also serves on the Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center's Young Professional Board and is a member of Congregation Beth Shalom in Northbrook.

Even through his work in human resources at Ally Financial, Casey empowers his colleagues to grow professionally and personally--linking them to volunteer opportunities.

Casey also believes in cultivating the next generation of Jewish leaders. He is a former advisor to the Ometz AZA chapter in BBYO--a place for teens to find their way into Jewish life. And he and his wife are already striving to instill kindness in their almost one-year-old daughter!

Outside of his volunteerism, he brings joy to the world in other ways: he loves to play piano, compose music, and make people laugh.

While my day job and volunteer work take up plenty of my time, I am most dedicated to my wife Stefanie and our 10-month-old daughter Aviva. We love to go to concerts, travel, and enjoy the outdoors together.
