Growing up in Highland Park, Danny was raised with a strong Jewish identity, and attended both Jewish day school and Jewish high school.
His commitment to the Jewish community endured after he left for Boston University, where he earned his undergraduate degree in Business Administration. On campus, he chaired the Hillel, helping students find their Jewish fit on campus.
His passion for Jewish life continued to flourish when he returned to Chicago, where he is not only an active member of JUF's Young Leadership Division board, but also serves as its 2023 Campaign Chair. Additionally, he is a member of the JUF Young Real Estate Professionals Board, where he lends his expertise as the owner of Dor2Dor Realty, a real estate investment company that owns and manages apartment buildings in Chicago.
His profound investment in Jewish life has come full circle. Today, Danny and his wife strive to instill a strong Jewish identity in their two small children--through Shabbat dinners and Tot Shabbat services at North Suburban Synagogue Beth El, back in his hometown where his Jewish journey began.
