Brett Musick

A friend of Brett's calls him "a steady voice of reason in times of chaos." That's always an  impressive descriptor, but considering his role in guiding Jewish students in this post-October 7 campus climate, Brett's composure is even more remarkable.

As Regional Director of the Jewish fraternity Alpha Epsilon Pi, Brett has many challenging responsibilities: He supports students confronting antisemitism on campus, helps navigate contentious conversations with university administrators, and responds to direct threats to fraternity houses.

Brett is passionate about mentoring emerging Jewish leaders. He began his Jewish communal career as a JCC camp counselor in Cincinnati. He then served as a Hillel Engagement Intern, while simultaneously advising a synagogue youth group. Next, he became an assistant camp director in Cleveland. Then, he went on to helm BBYO's Midwest Region.

Brett believes in the values of Jewish learning and community engagement. He graduated from Spertus Institute's Master's Program in Jewish Professional Studies, he hosts Shabbat dinners through OneTable, and serves as a YLD LEADS Committee Member. And despite his busy schedule, Brett volunteers his time as a BBYO advisor.
