Growing up, Danny's parents emphasized service to others. In turn, he allocates his time and talent to many causes close to his heart-both professionally and Jewishly.
In 2022, he was named an assistant state's attorney at the Cook County States Attorney's Office, and currently is assigned to the sexual assault/domestic violence division.
He is also a pillar of the Jewish community and passionate about being Jewish. In fact, he has been on nine interfaith trips to Israel-one of them arranged by the Vatican-to educate others on the importance of a Jewish State. He has also been active in AIPAC since he was just 12 years old.
In college, Danny was president and founder of the Arizona State University's chapter of Alpha Epsilon Pi fraternity and a Hillel board member. Back in Chicago, the Deerfield native joined the Young Professional Board of the Illinois Holocaust Museum and became a member of Shomrim Society of Illinois. He also completed the ADL Glass Leadership Institute and serves as chair of the Emerging Leaders Council for the Gastrointestinal Research Foundation.

DESCRIBE YOURSELF IN 10 WORDS OR LESS:
Proud American Zionist called to public service, fighting for justice.
A JEW WHO INSPIRES YOU:
Benjamin "Ben" Ferencz. Ben was an investigator of Nazi war crimes who ultimately served as the chief prosecutor for the U.S. Army during the Einsatzgruppen Trial at Nuremberg. After successfully convicting numerous Nazis, his pursuit of justice for victims only deepened. He led a life of service to others and ultimately helped found the International Criminal Court. Ben’s determination to seek justice inspires me every day.
YOUR BEST PIECE OF ADVICE:
Enjoy every day.
IF TIME AND MONEY WERE LIMITLESS, I WOULD:
I would travel the world, choosing each destination based on my culinary curiosity. While back in America recovering from the food coma, I would start a foundation to help teens learn about the legal system through trips to Washington, D.C., to see oral arguments at the U.S. Supreme Court.
