Jordan Shapiro

There aren't a lot of people on the YLD board that can say they have rung the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange, but Jordan is one of those people.

Professionally, Jordan is a leader in his field as the VP of Financial Planning & Analysis and Head of Investor Relations & Corporate Development at IonQ-a leading quantum computing startup firm.

And yet, his busy career doesn't stop Jordan from advocating on behalf of the Jewish people and Israel. He currently serves on JUF's Israel & Overseas Commission. Also, as the 2024 Campaign Chair on the YLD board, he regularly flies home from business trips to give updates at board meetings.

Jordan goes out of his way to think big picture for YLD-and brainstorm how to build for the future. At the same time, he creates intimate opportunities to make people feel welcome in the now. In fact, he has invited most of the 40 members of the board to his home for Shabbat dinner.
