It seems fitting that Sarah would find the love of her life as a camper at Camp Ramah in Wisconsin, where she now works.

After all, Sarah lives and breathes Jewishly-from majoring in Jewish Studies in college to working in organizations across the Jewish communal landscape to her YLD leadership to showing up for jBaby classes with her husband and young daughter.

Sarah-who currently serves as the Vice Chair of Campaign for the YLD Board-said that she finds a great sense of "pride and purpose" from doing good for others and giving back Jewishly, having worked at American Israel Public Affairs Committee, Jewish Federations of North America, the Jewish United Fund and United Hatzalah of Israel.

She has even helped many of her friends find their fit along their own Jewish journeys.

Today, as the Assistant Director of Development and Alumni Relations for Camp Ramah in Wisconsin, she has found a way to transform her passion for community, Jewish continuity, and peoplehood into a fulfilling career-and way of life!

CELEBRITY DOPPELGANGER:
I look like my parents and they’re some of the biggest celebs in my life.

HOW YOU JEW IN CHICAGO:
Something super important to my family is our weekly Shabbat dinner. Whether we host or attend, it is the center of our week and the core of our Jewishness. There is always a seat at our table for whoever wants a delicious Shabbat meal.

WHAT IS YOUR PROUDEST ACCOMPLISHMENT IN THE LAST 10 YEARS:
Without a single doubt being a mom to my baby girl Goldie is my proudest accomplishment. Getting to raise a strong and sweet Jewish baby has so far been the biggest blessing in my life. I was always taught the best thing you can be in life is a mensch—and it's so far been an honor to raise one!

A JEW WHO INSPIRES YOU:
Bari Weiss. She has been a champion for truth, for Jews around the world to claim their pride, and for combatting antisemitism globally. After October 7 I feel like so many of us are trying to find credible sources and her podcast “Honestly with Bari Weiss” has been my constant source of reliable voices and has given me so much strength. I also just think we'd be good friends, so Bari if you ever see this, you have a seat at my Shabbat table.
