Sara believes in giving back to the communities that have shaped her into the Jewish leader she is today-most notably Camp Chi and Keshet. In fact, Sara's connection to Keshet is tied to her time at Camp Chi, where she served as both a camper and counselor. When she had Keshet participants in her cabin, she saw firsthand the power of true inclusion.
Those experiences left a lasting impression on her, and she remains committed to supporting Keshet's mission of creating a more inclusive community. Today, she serves on Keshet's Leadership Council, where she helps raise community awareness and assists in planning the annual fundraisers. She also served as President of the JCC Camp Chi Alumni Committee for several years.
A Bernard Zell Anshe Emet Day School alum, Sara founded a Jewish club at her public high school. She also taught Sunday School at Anshe Emet Synagogue, engaging young learners with warmth and energy. In college, she joined a Jewish sorority and interned at Hillel.
Prior to her current career, Sara served as YLD's Assistant Director, where she played a pivotal role in engaging the next generation of Jewish leaders.
