
Honoring the Past to Transform the Future:
On Sunday, May 5, the Illinois Holocaust Museum, Sheerit Hapleitah of Metropolitan Chicago, Jewish United Fund of Chicago, and CJE SeniorLife Holocaust Community Services will commemorate Yom Hashoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day) and mark the 15th anniversary of Illinois Holocaust Museum.
The intergenerational commemoration will be led by Sam Harris, Holocaust Survivor; Muriel Blumstein, 2 nd -Generation descendant of Holocaust Survivors, and Dan Thalheimer, 3 rd
-Generation descendant of Holocaust Survivors.The gathering will honor the memory of those who were murdered during the Shoah and pay tribute to those who survived and have made the world better.
The commemoration will be held at the Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 5. The event is free to the public, but reservations are required. Register attinyurl.com/GlassHolocaustSeries.
