JUF meets the most fundamental needs of the community—feeding people when they are hungry, providing emergency financial support and protecting the health and well-being of those in need of care and those who provide it.
In 2025, JUF and its partner agencies provided:

20,000 local people with meals, food deliveries and holiday packages

64,000 Chicagoans in need with medical care

49,000 people with mental health and wellness services

15,000 people with $24 million in emergency financial aid

4,000 people with employment services

4,600 people with disabilities with an array of services

1,700 Holocaust survivors with food, financial aid and more

1,300 young adults with opportunities to engage in Jewish life

2,400 children with essential like coats, tech devices and school supplies
