Tikkun Fellowshipan initiative of the Russian Jewish Division that helps to bring your ideas to life. Selected Russian-speaking Jewish individuals between the ages of 22 and 40 will receive a grant of $500 to $2000 to develop their project that engages with the community in a meaningful and significant way. Projects must be innovative initiatives that impact the Chicago Jewish community in areas such as volunteering, children and families, arts and culture, religion, immigration, language, music and performing arts, technology, environmentalism, social justice, fundraising, social media, and many more. Intellectual Club LAERTwas founded in June of 1995. In partnership with Russian Jewish Division, the Club holds bi-weekly games, which are open for club members and the general public. These team competitions use questions that require logic, intuition and insight rather than knowledge to find the correct answer. Read more |
