Peer Ambassadors

Grow your leadership skills, create new connections in the Jewish community, and gain hands-on event planning experience

Are you a high schooler who is excited about community and wants to connect your friends to Jewish programs, while helping to shape the Chicagoland teen experience? As a Peer Ambassador you will increase awareness about Jewish teen activities, facilitate Jewish connections for your peers, and even create your own programs.

Peer Ambassadors will learn about the Chicago Jewish community and will improve upon communication, networking and relationship-building skills.

Ambassadors can earn a total of $300 over the course of the Ambassadorship. You will also be eligible for funding to implement programming. The Ambassadorship will begin in late August 2022 and end in early June 2023. All applicants must be in 9th-12th grade and live in the Chicagoland area.

Application deadline:  The application for the 2022-2023 school year is currently closed. If you are interested in participating in the program in the 2023-2024 school year, email NaomiLooper@juf.org.
