Shayna is a freshman at Rochelle Zell Jewish High School. She currently serves as a Regional General Board member in the Chicagoland region of USY where she spends a lot of time outside of school. During the school year, Shayna plays Volleyball for her school and will be on the spring track and field team. After school, she spends twice a week tutoring students in reading Hebrew as part of being a madricha at her synagogue, Am Yisrael. When she’s not at school or USY she spends her time with friends, family, reading, and doing art. This summer Shayna will be returning to Apachi Day Camp for her 11th summer which also marks her third year as a CIT. Shayna is thrilled to be an 18 Under 18 Honoree and continue to be a role model for the Jewish community.
