In a post-Oct. 7 world, the Jewish community is facing record levels of antisemitic hate that threaten our community’s safety. In response, JUF has built a team of security experts to provide security assistance to Jewish institutions across the metropolitan area.

JUF Security experts stand at the ready to help our local Jewish institutions keep their facilities—and the people in them—safe.
They are prepared to offer each institution a professional assessment of their potential vulnerabilities and gaps in security—along with expert guidance in how to plug those gaps.
They can also help secure government funding to pay for those security enhancements.
JUF Security works in partnership with Secure Community Network (SCN) to continually monitor potential threats to our community. The JUF team is in constant communication with all levels of law enforcement and serves as a communications bridge between law enforcement and local Jewish institutions.
And they work hand in hand with law enforcement to offer security training for staff at Jewish institutions on how to handle a wide variety of potential crises.
JUF provides multi-disciplinary security services to Jewish schools, agencies, camps and synagogues to help keep our community safe, including:
- Security Audits
Assessing individual sites for potential gaps in security and identifying solutions to those gaps. - Emergency Preparedness
Guiding institutions to establish or update their own individualized emergency response plans. - Security Training
Sharing best practices to enable community members and leaders of communal institutions to safeguard others—and one another—in an emergency. - Grant Application Assistance
Helping organizations to access added funding from government and private sources to meet their increased security needs. - JUF Master Contracts
Offering access to the most cost-effective security products and services with vetted vendors, group pricing and equipment/service guarantees. - Social Media/Dark Web Monitoring
Continually analyzing and reporting potential threats to security. - Connectivity & Cooperation
Collaborating with the Secure Community Network (SCN), other partners and all levels of law enforcement.
