Good Deeds Day


Good Deeds Day 2023 has arrived, and TOV is once again extending this international day of service to last all week long! From Sunday, April 16 – Friday, April 21,volunteers of all ages can choose from a variety of in-person and drop-off projects throughout Chicagoland, as well as remote projects that can be done anywhere, anytime. We are also thrilled to bring back our volunteer open house, which will be hosted at Anshe Emet Synagogue on Sunday, April 16 from 3-4:30pm. Drop in and work on a variety of volunteer projects alongside your community! 

Whether it’s serving a warm meal to someone in need, dropping off essential items, or decorating a birthday kit at home for a child in foster care, everyone can find an opportunity to make a difference—no matter your age, location, or comfort level! How will YOU choose to do good?

Good Deeds Day is an international day of service that was founded in Israel in 2007, and TOV has led local efforts in Chicagoland since 2016. In 2021, 1.5 million volunteers from 108 countries around the world came together on one day to do good and prove that anyone can make a difference.
