Shimra was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. She met her husband in college in New York City. They spent five wonderful years in Lakeview before making the move to the Skokie/Evanston area right after welcoming their daughter, Nessa, into the world. Professionally, she is a passionate speech pathologist, and she has recently taken the exciting step of starting her own business. Shimra finds immense joy in connecting with people and actively participating in the community. The jBaby programming has been instrumental in fostering these connections and helping her make new friends since the move. She is excited to serve as a connector within the community.
