Description: During this music class, your Broadway Baby will be introduced to new songs and sensory experiences designed with their unique needs in mind. After music time, you'll have the chance to connect with other parents and caregivers and ask us all of your burning child development questions! Lullaby League was created by Stages Chicago founder, Emily Pinas, and Director of Early Childhood Development, Colin Funk, who both hold M.S. degrees in Child Development from Erikson Institute.

Description: Yoga is inclusive, safe, and nervous-system focused at this age! This class is designed for babies 12 months and under with their caregiver to unplug and bond in the most playful of ways. Babies and their grown-ups will interact through moving, breathing, and connecting. Expect giggles, tears, naps, feeding, chaos, and community with baby whisperer Caitlin.

Description: MDM inspires friends to sing together while gently moving with their babies creating a unique bonding experience through the language of music. This baby class will get your little one rockin’ and rollin’ (maybe even walkin’)! Introduce your baby to music through creative play that builds gross motor skills and social connections. Our teacher, Patrick Martin, is a teaching artist and entertainer who’s been creating memorable musical experiences for Chicago children and their families for fifteen years.

Description: Infant massage creates an incredible bond between parent and baby. During this bonding experience with your baby, you'll learn infant massage techniques designed to promote good sleep, digestion, and wellness for your little one. Class will be led by Katie, of Katie Dougherty Abdominal Therapy. This class is best for non-mobile babies, but everyone is welcome!

Each class includes learning experiences such as: instrument play, sign language, rhymes and finger-plays, tummy-time and expert guidance from Bubbles Academy teaching artist, Amy Kim.

Description: "Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up.” – Pablo Picasso It isn’t too early to cultivate and nurture your baby’s inner artist! Babies can benefit from the expressive, exploratory and sensory nature of the visual arts. In class, babies and caregivers will be guided through sensory base art activity stations. These sensory art stations are designed to enhance your baby’s physical, social, emotional and cognitive development through the creative process.

Description: Reading aloud to your baby is important for baby’s brain development. Being read to and hearing stories supports baby’s social and emotional development, language and thinking skills. Learn how to build a library that builds your child’s identity and how to make reading a habit that brings you and your child joy.

Baby Beginnings is especially designed for pre-walkers, and some sessions are best for pre-crawlers (as noted in the session descriptions).
