With Israel under relentless rocket and missile assault from Hamas, with millions of Israelis spending days and nights in bomb shelters, and as the Israel Defense Forces actively continues to reduce that threat, now is the time for our community to demonstrate our support Israel.
Overwhelming interest in tomorrow's community rally for Israel has prompted a venue change to accommodate the large turnout. We will be joined by several Congressmen, state constitutional officers and other supportive elected officials and community and civic leaders.
RALLY FOR ISRAEL
Tuesday, November 20th, 12:00 PM
James R. Thompson Center, 100 W. Randolph Street, Chicago
JUF's Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC), in cooperation with the Chicago Board of Rabbis and JUF's Rabbinic Action Committee, encourage you and the entire community to come together for this expression of solidarity with Israel. We will be joined by elected officials, Israel's new Consul General Roey Gilad and civic and community leaders.
Donate to JUF's Israel Terror Relief Fund. With $1 million already allocated to relief efforts on the ground, JUF's partner agencies in Israel are hard at work caring for the severely disabled and frail elderly in the targeted areas, evacuating and providing meaningful activities for children, addressing trauma symptoms of the young and the old, rehabilitating the injured, and supporting the families of those killed.
Keep abreast of developments in Israel, diplomatic efforts, advocacy initiatives, media coverage and other news about Israel and what your community is doing and what YOU can do.
