Melton: Biblical Women—Emerging from the Margins through Midrash

Hecktman Family JCCs of Chicago, in partnership with the Melton School, present this 10-week course led by Rabbi Marianne Novak. Participants will explore major female figures of the Bible. Through classic and modern midrashic commentary, we meet more than a dozen biblical heroines, gaining multiple perspectives on their lives, relationships, and choices, and understanding their roles in Jewish history and literature.
