Babka & BRCA: Exploring the Genetic Links to Cancer

March 22, 2026Sunday, 10:00 am - Sunday, 11:00 am

Join the Norton & Elaine Sarnoff Center for Jewish Genetics for babka and an engaging discussion on hereditary cancer in the Jewish community. Together with the Sarnoff Center’s Genetic Counselor Scott M. Weissman and Makom Solel’s Director of Lifelong Learning, Vanessa Ehrlich, we’ll explore what hereditary cancer syndromes are, why they matter (especially in Jewish populations), and how the Sarnoff Center’s new Hereditary Cancer Testing Program provides personalized insights and actionable results.
