Distinguished Speakers Program: Join Us for an Evening with Kerri Strug, Olympic Gold Medal Gymnast

Kerri Strug is an Olympic gold medal-winning gymnast best known for her iconic vault at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, where she competed on an injured ankle to help secure the first-ever team gold medal for the United States. After overcoming multiple injuries throughout her career, she became a symbol of perseverance and resilience. Strug graduated from Stanford University and later worked for the United States Department of Justice, currently working as a program manager for the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention. Kerri helped open the Maccabiah Games in 1997 and was inducted into the National Jewish Sports Hall of Fame in 2008.
