Gather and Give Back: Thanking Our Veterans

Honor Veterans Day through a hands-on service project. Help assemble care kits for the 200 veterans living at the Illinois Veterans’ Home at Chicago. These care kits will include comfort items and personal care products as a simple way of saying thank you for all they have done. In addition to our service project, staff from CJE SeniorLife’s Benefits Services team will share information about Medicare Open Enrollment and other programs that help older adults access benefits, navigate healthcare options, and connect with valuable resources.

This event is free and open to all. No prior experience is necessary. All supplies included. Registration required.
