Home Jewish Chicago Guide to Jewish Living Israel Cancer Research Fund
Israel Cancer Research Fund
The leading charitable organization in the US solely devoted to supporting cancer research in Israel. Since 1975, ICRF has provided 2,100+ grants exceeding $52 million in funding to outstanding cancer researchers whose laboratories are located in Israel’s leading institutions. These scientists include the first Israelis to win the Nobel Prize in chemistry. Funds go directly to scientists via a granting process. No funds go to bricks and mortar. ICRF Chicago has expanded its board, created a young leadership, Visions board, and is raising awareness about the outstanding research taking place throughout Israel.
