The Jewish Women's Foundation of Metropolitan Chicago (JWF)

seeks to expand and improve opportunities and choices in all aspects of Jewish women's and girls' lives through strategic and effective grantmaking. JWF empowers Jewish women as leaders, funders, and decision-makers.

With a grantmaking endowment of $16.5 million, JWF invests in the security, well-being, and overall potential of Jewish women and girls.

We impact.

JWF mobilizes its collective power for social change to promote justice, equality, and empowerment for women and girls in our community and across the globe. We've awarded more then $7.1 million in grants since 1997.

We collaborate.

JWF forms strategic partnerships and builds momentum on key issues impacting Jewish women and girls, partnering with more than 250 different programs to date.

We empower.

Over 380 trustees, including 55 multigenerational families, sit at JWF's philanthropic table, a forum for Jewish women to be heard, to learn, to act, and to lead.

JWF connects the passion, wisdom, and experience of Jewish women serving as catalysts for change.
