Tackling Antisemitism and Keeping our Community Safe

An explosion in antisemitism demands we use our collective voices to fight misinformation – and to make sure hate speech never becomes normalized. With record levels of antisemitic hate threatening both our community’s safety and its mental health, JUF continues our work to ensure that everyone can be safe participating in Jewish life.

  • We invest in programs that prepare students to fight antisemitism on campus—and working tirelessly with Illinois university administrators on their behalf
  • We build relationships with local K-12 school administrations and providing training sessions for staff
  • We keep local Jewish spaces safe by providing schools, synagogues and agencies with security expertise and helping to access funding for necessary upgrades
  • We launch innovative programs to build community wellness and resilience
