Alumni board members practice values-based decision making in order to allocate approximately $20,000 in the form or grants to organizations around the world each year. I am currently a junior at the Latin School of Chicago and I am hoping to use my passion for community service to research, fundraise, and ultimately allocate money to organizations that will help those within our community. After having such an enriching experience on the 101 board, I can’t wait to see the kind of impact we can make this year!

Hi, my name is Aren and I’m a Junior at Glenbrook North highschool. I joined the voices alumni board because I want to continue trying to make an impact just like we did in voices 101. I really enjoyed the way we looked at organizations and collectively decided on which to donate to. I am passionate about raising civic engagement and helping refugees get the help they need.

I joined the Voices Alumni Board because I want to support organizations that impact people in need and make real change in different communities. I am passionate about combatting Antisemitism, saving our planet, and advocating for Israel. I am very excited for the work we will do this year.

Hi, my name is Bess Auerbach, and I’m a junior at Francis W Parker High School. This will be my second year a part of Voices and my first year on the Voices Alumni board. I joined the Voices Alumni Board because I wanted to make a meaningful impact on our community, while also learning the fundamental skills that Voices teaches. I am passionate about women’s rights and making sure everyone has accessible healthcare available to them. I’m eager to see how the Voices Alumni Board makes an impact on our community.

Hi, my name is Daniel and I am a senior at Glenbrook North High School. I joined the Voices Alumni Board because I want to help create a meaningful change to my community. I’m especially passionate about mental health awareness. I am eager to work with others and seeing the positive impact we will make this year!

Hi! My name is Ella and I’m a senior at Francis W. Parker. This is my third year participating in Voices, and I continue to be involved because I’m passionate about supporting my community and making a positive impact on others. I care about combating antisemitism and advocating for Israel. I know this year will be great!

I joined the Voices Alumni Board because I wanted to make a positive and lasting impact on my community and I had seen the work this group does in my past 2 years of participation. I care deeply about mental health access and civic education. I am looking forward to the upcoming year!

Hi my name is Golda and I’m a sophomore at Jones College Prep. I joined the Voices Alumni board because I want to help support causes that I care deeply about. I am really passionate about combating antisemitism specifically in schools and colleges. I can’t wait to see the effect our board will have this year.

Hi, my name is Julia and I’m a senior at New Trier High School. I was part of the Voices Alumni Board last year, and I’m so excited to continue this year. I love the connection on our board and how we can work together to make a difference. I’m especially passionate about defending Israel/Israel advocacy, caring for the environment, and helping ease hunger in our community and beyond. I am excited to see the impact the board will make this year!

Hi, my name is Kate Elterman and I am a sophomore at the Latin School of Chicago. I joined the Voiced Alumni board because I want to make a positive impact in my community and deepen my connections with other Jewish teens. I am passionate about helping the homeless and advocating for victims of 10/7.

I joined the voices Alumni Board because I wanted to continue my work with Jewish Philanthropy and continue to make a positive impact on my community. I am passionate about Women’s rights, ending gun violence, and have a deep love for the state of Israel. I can’t wait for the great things we will do this year!

Hi! My name is Nathan Polonsky and I go to Parker. I joined the Voices Alumni board because during my time with the 101 board, I realized the significance that this organization had on people in need all around the world but especially in Isreal. I couldn’t be more excited to continue my time here!

Hi, my name is Rebecca and I’m a sophomore at Glenbrook North High School. I joined Voices Alumni Board because I want to be part of the solution, and even if I don’t contribute a whole lot, I still help in a way, and that’s what matters to me. There are so many problems that I would love to resolve, but I think the most pressing and misunderstood problem is Climate Change and all the issues it causes. I am excited to help make a difference and have fun in Alumni Board!
