Camp Ben Frankel
A coed, overnight, summer camp for Jewish children and teens located near Carbondale, IL. Since 1949, our campers have developed lifelong friendships and deep connections to Judaism and Israel. With enrollment limited to only 100 campers, children enjoy a small, personal community with lots of individual attention. Established as a program of the Jewish Federation of Southern Illinois, Southeast Missouri and Western Kentucky, for almost 70 years Camp Ben Frankel has touched the lives of thousands of Jewish children. We are viewed by our families as a hidden gem - our campers receive the same great experience as at other camps at a lower cost.

Camp Firefly
As part of the JCFS family of services, Camp Firefly provides a supportive, welcoming community for children, teens and young adults who oftentimes have difficulty connecting with peers and navigating social situations. Everything in our program, including the best of summer fun and exceptional therapeutic group activities, is designed to support campers on the autism spectrum and with other social challenges. Presented in partnership with JCC Chicago's Camp Chi. Camp Ramah in Wisconsin
A full range of fun activities integrate Jewish values and observances into the daily camp experience. Activities include sports, swimming, high and low ropes courses, climbing wall, archery, sailing, stand up paddle boarding, kayaking, cooking, music, dance, nature, photography, radio, arts and drama. Meals are kosher, and Shabbat is observed. The camp is located 15 miles north of Eagle River, WI, on beautiful Lake Buckatabon. Sessions include two Ruach Ramah five-day sessions for entering third-graders, two-week sessions for entering fourth-graders, four-week sessions for entering fifth- and sixth-graders, and an eight-week session for entering seventh- to 11th-graders. Scholarships available.

Camp Young Judaea Midwest
Co-ed overnight summer camp for campers from all over the country in grades two through nine. Full range of activities including waterskiing, tubing, biking, arts & crafts, digital media, ropes course, makers space, and more. Our pluralistic approach allows for campers and staff to learn, grow, and play together to make informed choices about their connections to Judaism and Israel. We focus on an individualized approach while teaching campers to work in a group setting that fosters mutual respect, friendship, leadership, and development. Session lengths range from six days to 28 days. Counselor in training program offered for entering 12th graders. Kosher meals, Shabbat observant. Tuition assistance is available.

Campaign Endowment Funds
Endowment gifts that sustain a donor's annual gift to JUF in perpetuity. These giving vehicles are designated as part of The Centennial Campaign. Donors receive special recognition, and those who provide gifts of over $100,000 are permanently inscribed on The Centennial Wall in the Jewish United Fund building’s lobby.

Canavan Foundation
Educates at-risk populations about Canavan disease and other Jewish genetic diseases and the reproductive options available to carrier couples. Encourages carrier screening for these diseases whenever appropriate. In addition, the foundation supports research that searches for treatments and a cure for Canavan disease.
