Helps Jewish day schools to meet children’s academic, social-emotional, and health needs, so that children with different learning styles, abilities, challenges and special needs can access a Jewish education that reflects their parents’ values. REFUGE: Stories of the Selfhelp Home
A highly acclaimed documentary that explores the lives of Holocaust survivors and refugees from Chicago and tells the story of a community here that has given refuge to more than 1,000 victims of Nazi persecution from Central Europe. Director Ethan Bensinger is available for programs. Accompanying educational curriculum. No charge to community organizations and schools.

Robineau Residence
Designed for 24 older adults, is located in a residential neighborhood and offers private rooms and bathroom arranged in suites around living rooms with kitchens. Residents enjoy group activities, meals, transportation, excursions and 24-hour staff. Applicants must be 62 years or older and qualify for subsidized housing under the provisions of HUD's Section 8 program. Service coordinator on site. Transportation through CJE’s Shalom Bus Services is available for residents.

Russian Jewish Division
Serves Russian-speaking Jewish young adults between the ages of 18 and 40. RJD’s mission is to maintain and increase the outreach to the Russian-speaking Jewish community in the Chicago area while reinforcing Jewish pluralism through the spectrum of Jewish observance. While continuing to tailor to the specific needs of the Russian-speaking Jewish young adult community, Russian Jewish Division utilizes various available resources and serves as a resource and connection to JUF and the Jewish community at large.

Road Scholar, formerly Elderhostel
JCC offers a variety of multi-day programs with a focus on Chicago. Each program provides an opportunity for stimulating and interesting experiences and discussions, enriched by the insight of expert docents and the company of fellow lifelong learners. Past programs have included Signature City Chicago, A Taste of Chicago's Food History, Beautiful Music at Ravinia, Theatre in Chicago, and City Highlights Weekend. Road Scholar programs offer adults 55+ affordable, short-term vacation opportunities designed to be both educationally and culturally stimulating and socially gratifying. Program fees include Road Scholar educational sessions, accommodations, entertainment and most meals.
