Hatzalah Chicago is an all-volunteer Emergency Medical Service that is 85-members strong! We are an Advanced Life Support Ambulance Provider whose role is to treat and stabilize patients for transport to the hospital. Hatzalah Chicago provides emergency medical response 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to all who need it, regardless of race, religion or ethnicity. Our mission is to improve medical outcomes and save lives by enhancing existing emergency medical services in the Chicagoland area. Through funding from AgeOptions through by Title III-C of the Older Americans Act and other generous funders, CJE provides home-delivered kosher meals for older adults who are unable to shop and/or prepare food. CJE offers meals for diabetic, low sodium, renal and mechanical soft diets. Meals are delivered by volunteers between the hours of 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., Monday through Friday.
