JCC Chicago offers a wide variety of sports programming at locations across Chicagoland. All programs provide an opportunity to learn new skills and progress in development through instruction, practice, and individual or team play. Children will learn a love for sports and find new challenges in a variety of classes and leagues within an appropriately competitive atmosphere. Staff is trained to enhance self esteem, teach skills and bring Jewish values to life both on and off the field/court. JCC Chicago also excels at group and individual swim instruction at all swim levels as well as lifeguard training. Swim lessons begin for children as young as three months old. Parent/tot, group and private swim lessons are also available. All-In Swim is a new, inclusive learn-to-swim program for children with autism spectrum disorder and is offered at aquatic locations across the city and suburbs.

Jewish Enrichment Center

The Jewish Enrichment Center is a laboratory school that raises a child's voice in Jewish learning. Since 2011, we've run an independent Sunday and afterschool in Hyde Park, Chicago, where children are co-creators of Judaism. The Jewish Enrichment Center is recognized nationally as an exceptional model of deep, personalized Jewish children's learning. At the Jewish Enrichment Center, children ask questions, generate ideas, and bring Jewish texts to life for themselves. Using art and drama and clay, children dialogue with peers and with our ancient tradition, simultaneously growing their Jewish literacy as well as skills for critical and creative thinking and compassionate listening. Our environment teaches children to pursue dignity for all humanity. Now open for infant/toddlers through middle school.
