A yearly Israel experience sponsored by the Jewish United Fund. The trip is for eighth grade students from around Chicago, highlighted by visits to Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Masada, the Dead Sea, and more. A special track day includes immersive experiences in politics, high-tech, sports, environment, fine arts, and culinary arts. Pre-trip preparation, engagement with Israeli peers while in Israel, and post-trip follow up are all part of the experience.

Jewish Enrichment Center

The Jewish Enrichment Center is a laboratory school that raises a child's voice in Jewish learning. Since 2011, we've run an independent Sunday and afterschool in Hyde Park, Chicago, where children are co-creators of Judaism. The Jewish Enrichment Center is recognized nationally as an exceptional model of deep, personalized Jewish children's learning. At the Jewish Enrichment Center, children ask questions, generate ideas, and bring Jewish texts to life for themselves. Using art and drama and clay, children dialogue with peers and with our ancient tradition, simultaneously growing their Jewish literacy as well as skills for critical and creative thinking and compassionate listening. Our environment teaches children to pursue dignity for all humanity. Now open for infant/toddlers through middle school.
