Bnei Mitzvah
Elizabeth Janssen

Sippi and Avi Janssen of Evanston are proud to announce that their daughter, Elizabeth, was called to the Torah as a Bat Mitzvah on Nov. 7 at Kol Sasson Congregation in Skokie. For her mitzvah project, Elizabeth collected books for Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago. Elizabeth is the granddaughter of Rick and Judy Katz of Lincolnwood, Elaine Yarbrough of Cayucos, Calif. and David Janssen of Lexington, Ky.

Aaron Wolf

Sherry and Neil Wolf of Deerfield are proud to announce that their son, Aaron Wolf, will be called to the Torah as a Bar Mitzvah on February 19 at Congregation B’nai Tikvah in Deerfield. Rabbi Alex Felch will be officiating. Aaron is the grandson of Lorrie (the late Arthur) Krockey of Scottsdale, Arizona and Joseph (the late Ruth) Wolf of Boca Raton, Florida.

Yardena Lilit Matar on becoming a bat mitzvah, and to parents Robin Mordfin and Gilaad Matar. 

Yonah Eliyahu

Mazel tov to Yonah Eliyahu Albert on becoming a bar mitzvah, to his parents Rachel & Evan Albert, and to grandparents, Sue & Len Dubin and Toby & Bill Albert.


Marlene Pilger, who became a bat mitzvah at age 75 this June. She joined four other women; all are members of the Sun City Shalom Group in Huntley, IL.
