Learn Spoken Hebrew

Hebrew has been an indispensable component of Judaism enduring over 3000 years and the undeniable key to Jewish culture and social literacy. The Community Foundation for Jewish Education of Metropolitan Chicago is offering the chance to learn Hebrew in its dynamic Hebrew language Ulpan program entitled “Merkaz Ivrit.” Running from October 2007 through May 2008, this 22 session program (1.5 hr/week) is divided into various proficiency levels. Classes will take place in the North Shore, Skokie and Lakeview areas. Instructors are highly qualified and experienced in Hebrew pedagogy and will be utilizing the most up to date texts and materials on the market.
